About Us
Founded by Aaron and Elena Sansoni, the Aaron Sansoni Foundation (ASF) was established with a clear purpose: to create real, measurable change where it is needed most. Having both grown up in underprivileged circumstances, the founders are deeply committed to supporting vulnerable communities and raising funds for impactful charities—primarily within Australia, while extending support globally where the need is greatest.
The Foundation’s mission is to build national awareness and generate meaningful funds for its charity partners, while mobilising its extensive volunteer networks to actively serve those in need. ASF operates on the principle of fewer barriers and greater impact, ensuring that generosity reaches its intended destination.
To uphold this commitment, all operating costs of the Aaron Sansoni Foundation are personally covered by Aaron Sansoni. This ensures that the maximum possible percentage of donations goes directly to charity partners. When we say every cent goes to those in need, we mean exactly that.
Our Charity Partnerships
Each year, the Aaron Sansoni Foundation carefully selects a not-for-profit organisation to partner with and support. Since its inception, the Foundation has proudly partnered with the following organisations:
2018 – OzHarvest
ASF partnered with OzHarvest with a goal of raising $125,000 to help feed Australians experiencing disadvantage. We are proud to have achieved this goal, contributing to the provision of approximately a quarter of a million meals to those in need.
2019 – Starlight Children’s Foundation
In 2019, ASF partnered with the Starlight Children’s Foundation, Australia’s broadest-reaching children’s charity. With no government funding, Starlight relies entirely on community support to deliver hospital and community programs that brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families. Through this partnership, ASF helped brighten the lives of more than 857 seriously ill children.
2020 – Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund
In response to the devastating Australian bushfires, ASF partnered with the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Funds raised were directed to frontline relief efforts, supporting affected townships and families during a time of national crisis.
2021 – Mid 2023 – Monash Health
From 2021 through to mid-2023, ASF raised funds for Monash Health in support of the newly built Monash Medical Centre Paediatric Emergency Department. These funds contributed to the creation of a dedicated space for children—specifically designed to minimise the emotional and psychological impact of emergency medical care.
Late 2023 – UNICEF
In the final quarter of 2023, ASF partnered with UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund—the world’s largest organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children across more than 190 countries. UNICEF delivers clean water, life-saving nutrition and vaccines, education, and protection from violence, prioritising the most vulnerable children globally.
During a record-breaking fundraising event held on Saturday, 2 December 2023, at the Wealth Immersion event in Melbourne, the Foundation raised an extraordinary $217,741 in just two hours, with 100% of funds donated directly to UNICEF.
2024 – UNICEF
Building on the success of the previous year, ASF continued its partnership with UNICEF in 2024, raising a total of $274,494.44, with every dollar going directly to support UNICEF’s life-changing work for children.
2025 – UNICEF
In 2025, the Foundation again partnered with UNICEF, raising $286,337.51 in support of children and families facing the greatest challenges worldwide.
Looking Ahead
In March 2026, the Aaron Sansoni Foundation will be travelling personally to Laos to assist in the direct delivery of aid—reinforcing ASF’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and hands-on impact.
Our Commitment
Through every partnership, fundraising initiative, and volunteer effort, the Aaron Sansoni Foundation remains steadfast in its mission to create meaningful change—ensuring that generosity is transformed into real outcomes for those who need it most.
Current Cause
UNICEF
In conflict and disaster, children suffer first and suffer most.
The number of countries experiencing violent conflict is the highest it’s been in 30 years. We’ve all seen the heartbreaking news from all over the world. We’ve seen how the brutal impacts of conflict are deeply affecting children in places like Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, Afghanistan, Syria, and Yemen.
Right now, more than 400 million children around the world live in areas of conflict. These children are at risk of being displaced, enslaved, trafficked, abused and exploited. Many children are without access to basic human necessities such as clean water, nutritious food, medicine, shelter, and education.
It’s hard not to feel overwhelmed. The situation is complex, the numbers are big, and you may feel helpless, but there is something you can do; something lifesaving. Please join our fundraising effort for UNICEF.

Partner with us
We partner with a new charity every year. Occasionally we extend partnerships beyond a year to meet a fundraising goal, or we may do a shorter fundraising period, based on the needs of our charity partner. The ASF board meets in the final quarter of every year to consider applications for the following year; however, we accept applications at any time, and will hold on to them for consideration for the following year.
If you would like your charity to be considered for a partnership with ASF please send through an application elena@aaronsansonifoundation.org. Some ideas of what to include in your application are; what work your charity does, who does it serve in the community and what project or works the money raised by ASF will be used for. We find it helpful when there is clarity about what the funds will ‘buy’, for example ‘$10 buys books for 2 children’. Please note your charity must have DGR status to be considered.
