Aaron Sansoni Foundation Donates $217,741 to UNICEF in Record-Breaking Fundraising Event

The Aaron Sansoni Foundation, a renowned philanthropic organisation founded by Aaron and Elena Sansoni, has made a remarkable contribution to UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund. In a record-breaking fundraising event held on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at the Wealth Immersion event in Melbourne, Australia, the foundation raised an astounding $217,741 in just two hours.

ZERO COSTS, FEES OR EXPENSES ARE DEDUCTED FROM DONATIONS; ALL COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH AARON SANSONI FOUNDATION OPERATIONS ARE 100% COVERED BY AARON SANSONI.

As well as raising awareness for the causes the Foundation works with, Aaron has also made a commitment to personally donate two percent of gross revenues of select products and services at select events from his education businesses directly to the Aaron Sansoni Foundation each quarter.

About Us

Founded by Aaron and Elena Sansoni, the Aaron Sansoni Foundation was established to create real change where it’s needed. With both founders growing up in underprivileged backgrounds, the foundation holds a strong focus towards raising money for charities within Australia. Our goal is to create national awareness and funds for our charity partners while calling upon our large volunteer networks to assist us in serving those who need it.

Every year the Aaron Sansoni Foundation chooses a not-for-profit charity to partner with and give back to. We believe in fewer barriers and more donations getting to where they’re needed, which is why the total operating cost of the Aaron Sansoni Foundation is covered by Aaron Sansoni to ensure the maximum percentage of donations goes to where it should. When we say every cent goes to those in need, that’s exactly what we mean.

In 2018 we partnered with OzHarvest and our goal was to raise $125,000 to feed a quarter of a million of those who are disadvantaged. We are delighted to say we achieved that goal!

In 2019 we partnered with the Starlight Foundation. Starlight are Australia’s broadest reaching children’s charity and with no government funding – they rely solely on community support to deliver their hospital and community programs, and achieve their mission, which is ‘to brighten the lives of seriously ill children and their families’. We are proud to say we brightened the lives of over 857 seriously ill children.

In 2020 we partnered with the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund to raise funds to donate to the front line. These funds went directly towards the townships and families affected by the bush fires.

In 2021-mid 2023 the Aaron Sansoni Foundation has been raising funds for Monash Health for the newly built Monash Medical Centre Paediatric Emergency Department. These funds are for a space dedicated just for children, designed to minimise the impact of visiting the Emergency Department on their wellbeing.

In the last quarter of 2023, we made the decision to partner with UNICEF, the United Nations Children’s Fund. UNICEF is the world’s largest organisation working for children in over 190 countries to build a better world for every child, every day, everywhere. They provide clean water, life-saving food and vaccines, education and protection from violence. Their work prioritises the most vulnerable children and those in greatest need. ASF are proud to partner with UNICEF and aim to raise as many funds and awareness as possible, with 100% of every dollar going directly to UNICEF. In a record-breaking fundraising event held on Saturday, December 2nd, 2023, at the Wealth Immersion event in Melbourne, Australia, the foundation raised an astounding $217,741 in just two hours.

Current Cause

UNICEF

In conflict and disaster, children suffer first and suffer most.
The number of countries experiencing violent conflict is the highest it’s been in 30 years. We’ve all seen the heartbreaking news from all over the world. We’ve seen how the brutal impacts of conflict are deeply affecting children in places like Gaza, Ukraine, Sudan, Afghanistan, Syria, and Yemen.

Right now, more than 400 million children around the world live in areas of conflict. These children are at risk of being displaced, enslaved, trafficked, abused and exploited. Many children are without access to basic human necessities such as clean water, nutritious food, medicine, shelter, and education.

It’s hard not to feel overwhelmed. The situation is complex, the numbers are big, and you may feel helpless, but there is something you can do; something lifesaving. Please join our fundraising effort for UNICEF.

Partner with us

We partner with a new charity every year. Occasionally we extend partnerships beyond a year to meet a fundraising goal, or we may do a shorter fundraising period, based on the needs of our charity partner. The ASF board meets in the final quarter of every year to consider applications for the following year; however, we accept applications at any time, and will hold on to them for consideration for the following year.

If you would like your charity to be considered for a partnership with ASF please send through an application elena@aaronsansonifoundation.org. Some ideas of what to include in your application are; what work your charity does, who does it serve in the community and what project or works the money raised by ASF will be used for. We find it helpful when there is clarity about what the funds will ‘buy’, for example ‘$10 buys books for 2 children’. Please note your charity must have DGR status to be considered.
